Refrain Even so, come, precious Lord Jesus; Refrain Mabel Camp was born in born Chanute, Kansas, on November 25, 1871, the daughter of a banker. She attended a girls' school in Steubenville, Ohio. She was an accomplished pianist, with a beautiful contralto voice. She married Norman H. Camp, an attorney. They both converted to Christianity at one of Dwight L. Moody's Bible Union classes taught by William F. Newell. She wrote hymns and hymn tunes for the Moody Memorial Church in Chicago. She died in Chicago, on May 25, 1937. Acts 1:11 - Who also said: Ye men of Galilee, why stand you looking up to heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come as you have seen him going into heaven.
